Book Launch

So I have never been to a book launch, until Friday night that is.

I went to support a friend on his book, 14 years in the writing. I have to say I did not know what to expect.

There was an introduction from someone at the University where my friend studied creative writing. Some readings from the book by an actor which was very good. And then some Q&A from the audience.

So I know what to expect the next time I go to one. And I would indeed go to one. The only problem with this one is that the book was a novel and the books I tend to read now tend to be technical. I can't imagine I would ever get to a technical book launch.
